As part of the Sales Leadership Team you will be leading the Automotive vertical for SEA. You will be responsible for the commercial/selling activities related to the vertical industry or segment assigned under supervision. Reporting to the Head of Sales the Automotive Vertical Manager needs to ensure the accomplishment of the sales targets and drive the vertical or segment sales expertise to optimise team results.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery as per Area Budget
Lead and set the strategic direction for the sales team to achieve and exceed targets within the Automotive vertical driving both ocean freight volumes and revenue growth while optimizing profitability.
Champion the expansion of non-ocean services including supply chain management contract logistics and local value-added solutions tailored to the automotive sectors needs.
Define performance targets and sales incentives in collaboration with Sales FBP to motivate high-impact results in the automotive portfolio.
Build and Develop a Best in Class Sales Team
Recruit coach and mentor a best-in-class sales force with deep understanding of the automotive supply chain ecosystem.
Ensure robust succession plans for key roles including your own to maintain business continuity.
Drive team engagement and nurture specialized skills in automotive vertical sales solution selling and customer value creation.
Manage Stakeholders across the Area Region and Global Functions
Collaborate with area regional and global functions to align strategies and ensure consistent delivery for global and regional automotive customers.
Translate customer insights into actionable feedback for the Automotive Vertical Lead and Business Development teams.
Provide high-quality leads to business development managers to accelerate growth in key accounts and strategic opportunities.
Customer satisfaction
Monitor and analyze local Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for automotive customers implementing initiatives to enhance satisfaction responsiveness and service quality.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in transportation & logistics Sales or commercial function with at least 5 years of leadership & management positions
Proven experience in leading regional teams and managing complex solution-based selling environments.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain models including Airfreight Warehousing and value-added services.
Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and influencing C-level stakeholders.
Ability to work in a matrix environment with global alignment and local execution.
Fluency in English and business-level Mandarin to effectively engage with our customer base.
