Job Summary

Our client, a growing and diverse group of companies, is seeking a highly organised Finance & Operations Manager to take ownership of financial management across their portfolio. This is a broad and hands-on role, combining technical accounting with HR, operations, and executive support. It would suit a proactive, detail-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full finance function across multiple entities, including reconciliations, management accounts, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
Oversee VAT, CIS, PAYE, and Companies House compliance.
Implement and manage Xero systems across the group.
Support intercompany transactions, corporate structuring, and year-end reporting.
Oversee HR onboarding, compliance, and office operations.
Provide executive support to Directors.

Skills & Experience

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
Strong experience in multi-entity finance operations.
Advanced Xero and Excel skills.
Excellent understanding of UK compliance and reporting requirements.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
