Primary Details
Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeBased in Manila or Cebu depending on the requirements and reporting to the Finance Services Team Lead (TL) Tax under the GSSC Enterprise Services (ES) tower.This role will assist the TL and the Finance Services Operations Manager Tax (OM) in ensuring that QBEs tax compliance and reporting obligations are satisfied for all applicable taxes depending on the tax jurisdiction of that country (e.g. income tax indirect taxes etc.) for Group and/or its divisions including assisting with tax audits and the provision of ad-hoc tax advisory to the broader QBE business with particular focus on high complexity and urgent tasks and/or first-level review role as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in accordance with OECD guidelines and local tax regulations including functional and comparability analyses
- Support the creation of Transfer Pricing Local Files (TPLF) and Master Files for QBE Group entities
- Ensure timely updates to service level agreements and organizational charts relevant to transfer pricing reports
- Support tax planning initiatives to mitigate Pillar Two exposure while ensuring compliance.
- Consolidate tax reporting across group entities for financial statement disclosures.
- Analyze effective tax rate (ETR) and deferred tax balances for group reporting
Assist in preparing thequarterly and annual income tax provision
- Monitor and review the report before sending it to onshore for final sign off.
