Are you interested in the assembly and installation of radars As a Radar Mechanin you will be part of the team responsible for producing our radars before they are sent to our customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality precision-mechanical radars that contribute to a safer world for people and animals. They will work independently but never alone and will also occasionally monitor junior technicians and guide them where necessary.
They will be part of the Production team which consists of a Head of Production and eight other fellow technicians. Together the team builds more than 50 radars per year!
Responsibilities
Assemble high-tech radar systems including electronic component connections and soldering.
Identify and address faults during assembly and testing contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Install and configure software on servers integrated with radar systems.
Ensure adherence to strict safety and quality standards guaranteeing mechanical and electronic integrity.
Provide on-site support during testing phases at external locations.
Operate forklifts for material transfer within the production facility as needed.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly conducting tests to identify functionality problems.
Maintain detailed logs and reports on work progress.
MBO 4 in Engineering Mechatronicsor relevant technical field;
Experience in soldering electronic component connection and subassembly construction;
You have at least 1-3 years of comparable work experience in high tech assembly;
You have experience in using measuring equipment to detect errors in electronic systems;
You work precisely and structured and record what is important so that you are not faced with any surprises in your work afterwards;
Experience with electronics mechatronics PCBs electrical diagrams measuring equipment (i.e scope and VNA) is a plus;
You want to learn quickly and know how to tackle things in a fast-growing and changing company like Robin.
