Legal Counsel APAC Business Legal

Kemira Business Legal ensures the high-quality execution of legal matters ethics & compliance in a cost-efficient manner while promoting a culture of compliance within the company.

We are now looking for an experienced Legal Counsel APAC for Kemira (Asia) Co. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient at drafting reviewing and negotiating various contracts and agreements for all business operation in APAC. Develop maintain and update contract templates to improve contract life cycle management;
  • Providing legal advice and solutions for the companys regional manufacturing sales and marketing and support the APAC BUs and functions;
  • Preventing and controlling legal risks and conducting research on related legal issues;
  • Managing commercial claims disputes and litigation in close coordination with business and supervise and manage outside counsels;
  • Providing legal support to ensure compliance with appropriate corporate governance practices;
  • Providing compliance trainings supporting to implement and monitor Group compliance procedures and handle the relevant matters relating to compliance;
  • Other tasks assigned by General Counsel APAC Business Legal.

What you need:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Law or above foreign education will be a plus;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and native fluency in written and spoken Mandarin;
  • At least 4 to 5 years of proven track record of working with MNCs or a reputable law firm;
  • Strong ability to analyze handle and resolve legal issues;
  • Well-organized with good analytical skills ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and also open to new ideas and new approaches. ;
  • Proactive work good communication skills strong sense of service and team spirit;
  • Able to work independently as well as strong inter-personal and organizational;
  • Diligent honest and with high integrity.
