Position: Behavior Services Coordinator
Schedule: 8 am-4 pm M-F. This position is a full calendar year.
Starting Salary Range: *$80000-$97500 annually
*The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range based on education and experience.*

As a Behavior Services Coordinator you will be a valuable asset to Laradons mission by coordinating behavior services for Laradon School students. Provide leadership and direction for the behavior team while championing the behavioral services for all students in The Laradon School. Develop evidence-based behavior intervention plans that address lagging skills and provide a means for healthy skill acquisition. Implements classroom and school-wide behavior management strategies and data collection systems. Provides professional development to school staff.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for behaviorists paraprofessionals holding RBT certification and part-time team members to embrace Laradons mission vision and core values.
Facilitate team meetings on behavior intervention plans address classroom organization and effective instruction.
Promote highly specialized positive behavior interventions in which all students thrive; behavior intervention that is explicit intensive accelerated and provides ample practice.
Collect data and assess targeted behaviors of students creation and implementation of strategies to change behavior and development of long-term maintenance plans. Continuous assessment and modification of plans.
Participate in the Individual Education Program (IEP) process including complete monthly and quarterly reports.
Manage a caseload of students including consult with parents and team members and complete required paperwork as needed.
Develop and implement skill acquisition plans that teach functional skills.
Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff.
Seek input and maintain effective communication with classroom teams and outside entities.
Work collaboratively with other professionals to meet the needs of individual students across learning environments.
Lead student intake process with the school leadership team; including observations and communication with districts.
Assist with organizational processes and planning.
Manage daily staffing attendance and classroom staffing needs.
Provide staff trainings and professional development as needed.

We ask that you bring the following assets to our workplace:
Colorado Department of Education special education teacher special service provider or adjunct instructor BCBA license.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.
At least five years of experience working with adolescents and young adults with self-injurious behaviors and other aggression.
School experience preferable.
Must possess desire to mentor and teach Laradon staff members at all levels.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate patience accountability flexibility strong oral and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
Valid driving license good driving record vehicle insurance preferred.
Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; physical condition to enable walking standing sitting stooping kneeling crouching or crawling; stamina to be on feet and active for full workdays; ability to speak or exchange information in an audible manner
