Job Description
The Senior Front-End Engineer position is responsible for implementing visual
elements that users see and interact with for our clients products and services
as well as any client supplementary websites (e.g. company website).
They also must help provide any client-side solutions for front-end handling of
session security and management local storage security and management
web security best practices as well as interaction with Dapp components
crypto-wallets or blockchain interfacing when necessary.
The above will include web-based applications mobile applications and
standalone desktop products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Development updating and maintaining of clients product and
company websites
Development updating and maintaining of mobile (or hybrid)
applications
Working closely with back-end engineers to integrate system updates
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure web and mobile security of front-end components
Collaborate with other team members and management to achieve
company goals
Skills:
Education level - Minimum 2-year technical degree in web technologies
preferred 4 years Computer Science or equivalent
Experience - 5 years as a front-end engineer
Specific skills - Github HTML5 CSS/SASS Javascript
React Native
Bonus: UI/UX tools/experience and wireframing Adobe Photoshop Sketch
or similar visual software iOS or Android native app development AB
testing knowledge of security best practices ElectronJS understanding of
authentication/JWT and API interaction.
Personal characteristics - good work ethic team player self-directed
passionate about technology interested in blockchain and dapp
development
