Manager Postal Business Operations

What does a successful Manager Postal Business Operations do

As a Manager Postal Business Operations you will ensure the smooth functioning of business operations by managing staff ensuring exceptional customer service and acting as a USPS liaison with various business this role you will also emphasize reporting and reconciliation to maintain accuracy and compliance. By fostering a positive and productive work environment you will represent our commitment to excellence through effective communication goal setting and performance monitoring.

What you will do:

  • Manage a team of analysts and oversee the department responsible for submitting payments to the USPS ensuring compliance with USPS rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and update postal-related software assist in ensuring that the firm is compliant with all USPS regulations and stay current on all USPS regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the USPS and collaborate with the Output Solutions department regarding USPS regulations.
  • Process and submit daily billing files to the Finance Department and provide client-specific reporting for postage.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between billed and paid volumes while analyzing and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Participate in new client projects and onboarding providing analysis for postage strategy for client RFIs.
  • Coordinate USPS changes across business units including rate changes promotions and incentives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with USPS regulations and provide reporting and reconciliation support across all relevant business operations.

What you will need to have:

  • 6 years of experience in managing business operations and staff.
  • 6 years of experience in collaborating across multiple departments.
  • 6 years of experience with Microsoft Office tools and basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

What would be great to have:

  • 2 years of experience with compliance for USPS regulations.
  • 8 years of experience in providing analysis for postage strategy for client RFIs.
  • 8 years of experience in client-specific reporting for postage.
  • 8 years of experience in performing daily reconciliations between billed and paid volumes.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining a strong relationship with the USPS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and productivity enhancement techniques.
