We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trading Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the trading operations process. This role will involve managing trade lifecycle workflows ensuring regulatory compliance collaborating with trading desks and IT and delivering strategic operational improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of finance expertise operational acumen and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and optimize the end-to-end trade lifecycle including trade capture confirmation settlement and reconciliation.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g. Dodd-Frank EMIR) internal policies and audit requirements.
Collaborate closely with traders risk teams technology and vendors to streamline operations and resolve issues.
Drive process improvements system enhancements and automation initiatives for operational efficiency.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) generate operational dashboards and present insights to senior management.
Lead or support implementation of new trading platforms tools or risk controls.
Provide mentorship and training to junior operations staff.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
2 years of experience in trading operations middle office or consulting roles within financial services.
Deep understanding of trading products (equities derivatives FX fixed income) and relevant operational workflows.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders.
Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Hourly Pay Rate:
$55 - $75 per hour adjusted based on experience and complexity of responsibilities.
