Our client is a leading manufacturer of snacks cereals and convenience foods under a globally recognized brand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead packaging development and improvement projects to support product launches and cost-saving goals.
- Review past performance and quality data to find areas for improvement.
- Look for ways to reduce packaging costs by optimizing design and materials.
- Support the sustainability goals for packaging especially looking ahead to targets.
- Ensure smooth handover of new packaging to the supply chain including documentation and staff training.
- Create and maintain packaging specifications to meet legal food safety requirements.
- Review and approve packaging artwork including flexibles cartons and cases.
- Guide and support junior team members to help them grow in their roles.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering Food Science or a related field.
- More than 8 years of packaging development experience in food or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials and production line compatibility.
- Proven experience in cost-saving innovation and sustainability projects.
- Skilled in specs artwork review and product launches with good English communication.
