Part-Time Lecturer for DV2002 Illustration for Designers
The School of Art Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University Singapore invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DV2002 Illustration for Designers. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in August 2025.
This intermediate level studio-based course will introduce students to illustrative visual communication placing emphasis on personal investigation and discovery through experimentation with a variety of media and techniques. Students will be encouraged to create a body of stylised and conceptual illustrations whilst considering their practical application. This learning provides a holistic approach in informing their visual voice and underpins the creative strategies applied in further creative practice.
Candidates should have at least a Masters and/or PhD in Visual communication or related field with a track record of production and creative practice in media. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Visual Communication and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
