About the job:
Service execution:
Execute marine related services and tasks assigned from IMS
Sail with ships to conduct trouble shooting or supervise/advice contractors for correct installation of WWF system.
Maintenance and trouble-shooting on WWF Systems and other AL equipment.
Carry out retrofit or re-commissioning upon both existing and new systems including but not limit to :
Preparation of job
Install inspection
Fine-tuning the system calibration of the components
Test alarm functions
Verify compliance of job
Training of SE onboard in relation of WWF.
Preformance audit or Compliance service
Reporting and communication:
Communicate with the Ships crew superintenedent class survey and yard.
Report and send progress reports to IMS relevant colleagues on regular basis. Same to customer side if required.
After site job finish timely submission of required paper work.
Others:
Assisting other WWF departments with various jobs upon request
What you know:
Main Competencies:
Good hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills is mandatory
It is preferred if you have knowledge and skills about BU WWF related product such as ballast water treatment system high speed separator.
Capable of effective communication with customers
Fluent in both written and oral English. CET-4 or above
Attitude:
Service minded and customer oriented
Independent and situational
Willing to travel frequently
Target oriented ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Behavior and compliance follow up AL business pricncple and policy
Education and/or background requirements:
Offshoare or Marine Engineering education background is preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Marine Engineer on board or on a yard or equivalent;
It is preferred
Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for comparable installations;
Minimum 1 year of Alfalaval related product working experience
