Job Description
About The Company:
We are looking for a curious and agile senior backend engineer to be one of the first members of our fast growing team. Our ideal candidate is eager to set the technical foundation and strategy and work very closely with the co-founders. If this sounds interesting to you come and join our founding team to build the platform.
Highlights:
- Remote first company with a global team - 100% remote we dont have an office.
- European working hours (CET) customers in the USA (ET).
- Full time position.
- Contractor but NOT temporary.
- Digital nomads - is a plus!
Our Tech Stack:
- AWS Serverless Architecture AWS Lambda
- TypeScript / JavaScript (Node)
- Python Django
- RDS Aurora DynamoDB S3 SQS and many others
Tasks
- Design and Development of features over a wide array of systems processes and technologies.
- As you gain more experience ownership of modules in the system.
- Setting coding standards
- Designing testing frameworks
Requirements
- 5 years of experience building high quality production web applications
- Experience designing developing and managing microservices
- Backend development with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
- Strong technical responsibility and ownership over the features you work on
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to influence the products being built
- Previous experience working at early-stage start-ups
- Serverless Framework is a plus
- DevOps experience is a plus
