Waking Nights Support Worker
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Waking Night Support Worker!
All applicants must be able to work 9pm-9am three nights per week.
Apple Tree House is a residential Ofsted Registered Good childrens service situated on the on the outskirts of Weymouth Dorset. Here we support 4 children aged 8 to 18.
Apple Tree House has been carefully adapted to provide specialist accommodation for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties autism ADHD and associated behavioural challenges.

What youll be doing:
- Our young people have a mix of interests and different levels of independence; you will be supporting with daily tasks to increase their confidence levels and everyday skills.
- You will support the children to have fun and engage in learning.
- You will be cooking cleaning and supporting with everyday tasks depending on the childs ability.
- We make the most of being close to the seaside and local amenities. We enjoy days out together shopping visiting the cinema and take part in and encourage the childrens interests.
Who you are:
- The young people we support have said that they want someone with a great sense of humour who will have fun will be understanding patient and who will enjoy spending time with us.
- You are enthusiastic compassionate and love working with children.
- You are motivated flexible and have a can do attitude.
- Previous experience working in a social care setting with children is preferred but not essential.
