Job Summary

Description

The Role

Work with a scrum team to refine stories and identify the correct test strategy
Create test plans that can easily be executed by yourself or others
Design and implement automated tests to maximise regression coverage
Participate in code reviews design discussions and sprint ceremonies
Review and provide detailed feedback on test plans (automated and manual QA) created by other team members
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the quality methodology to sustain and enhance ongoing product quality
Write technical documentation
Mentor team members and be open to feedback

Qualifications

The Requirements

Functional Testing Experience - 3-5 and 5-8 years in QA
Be a hands-on tester who is comfortable working across a whole range of functional and cross-functional testing
Experience in testing web applications with knowledge of cross browsers and user-interface testing techniques
Demonstrate experience with exploratory testing not just working to test plans
Test Case Management: Creating executing and managing test cases with or without business requirements/design documents
Ability to triage failures identify root-cause and define corrective actions
Experience with at least one of the leading test automation tools and frameworks
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field
Skilled in using Selenium for automated web testing including writing and maintaining test scripts
Experience in executing Agile and Continuous Delivery best practices
Experience working in cross-functional virtual teams Understanding of full life cycle development right from the requirements gathering to delivery
Experience with testing products on any of the following technology: .NET SQL XML web services
Have the ability to set priorities and undertake complex tasks with minimal supervision
