Job Description
The Role
- Work with a scrum team to refine stories and identify the correct test strategy
- Create test plans that can easily be executed by yourself or others
- Design and implement automated tests to maximise regression coverage
- Participate in code reviews design discussions and sprint ceremonies
- Review and provide detailed feedback on test plans (automated and manual QA) created by other team members
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the quality methodology to sustain and enhance ongoing product quality
- Write technical documentation
- Mentor team members and be open to feedback
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Functional Testing Experience - 3-5 and 5-8 years in QA
- Be a hands-on tester who is comfortable working across a whole range of functional and cross-functional testing
- Experience in testing web applications with knowledge of cross browsers and user-interface testing techniques
- Demonstrate experience with exploratory testing not just working to test plans
- Test Case Management: Creating executing and managing test cases with or without business requirements/design documents
- Ability to triage failures identify root-cause and define corrective actions
- Experience with at least one of the leading test automation tools and frameworks
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field
- Skilled in using Selenium for automated web testing including writing and maintaining test scripts
- Experience in executing Agile and Continuous Delivery best practices
- Experience working in cross-functional virtual teams Understanding of full life cycle development right from the requirements gathering to delivery
- Experience with testing products on any of the following technology: .NET SQL XML web services
- Have the ability to set priorities and undertake complex tasks with minimal supervision
