Responsibilities
What you will do During a three-month period you will spend several days a week in the advisory practice experiencing firsthand what its like to provide advice for PwC to nationally and internationally operating organizations. You will of course receive good guidance from experienced colleagues who can teach you the intricacies of the field. During your working student period you will have the opportunity to collaborate frequently with other colleagues within the Tax short a working student position offers you the perfect opportunity to get to know PwC and the Corporate Tax practice and possibly advance to an associate position!
As a working student in our practice you will work with colleagues on the following issues:
Tax advice on cross-border corporate restructurings acquisition processes opening balance discussions and interest deduction limitations for international private enterprises such as portfolio companies of private equity funds or international companies headquartered in the Netherlands;
Advising large (international) family businesses active in the Netherlands. The advice focuses on both the family and the company. Additionally we advise wealthy individuals on asset management business succession and inheritance among other things.
Within the public sector we advise healthcare institutions educational and research institutions housing corporations other (semi-)government organizations and public-private partnerships and contribute to important societal issues.
We are a nationwide Business Unit allowing you to collaborate with many different people in addition to your fixed team at your own office.
Profile
You are talented eager to learn and ambitious and you want to show what you have to offer during a working student position. Additionally you aspire to become a successful tax advisor. You also enjoy meeting new people and you find a diverse and inclusive work atmosphere important. Furthermore you are full of energy and:
You are pursuing a university degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics (3rd/4th year bachelors or masters);
You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
You are curious and want to get acquainted with PwCs culture.
