Role Overview
The Maintenance & Projects Manager will be responsible for overseeing all preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment utilities and facilities while also leading new projects related to infrastructure expansion and process improvements. This role requires a strong technical background excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with production supply chain and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Management
- Plan schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all machinery production equipment HVAC refrigeration units utilities and facility infrastructure.
- Minimize equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage vendor relationships for AMC contracts repairs and servicing.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities breakdowns and service reports.
- Train and supervise the maintenance team for effective troubleshooting and upkeep.
Projects Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of new facility projects expansions renovations and process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with architects contractors and vendors for civil mechanical and electrical works.
- Monitor timelines budgets and quality standards of projects.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance (pollution control fire & safety FSSAI etc.) for all new projects.
- Introduce automation energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to optimize resources.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SOPs for maintenance and project execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and audit compliance across all facilities.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for maintenance and projects.
- Collaborate with production supply chain and quality teams to ensure seamless operational support.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 710 years of experience in maintenance & projects preferably in food manufacturing FMCG or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in managing maintenance teams and large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with FSSAI HACCP and other regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
