What youll do
As part of the jobs key responsibilities the security incident responder will be expected to:
- Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents as well as conducting post-incident analysis.
- Detect and respond to threats in network environments.
- Use Splunk and other SIEM tools to identify potential security incidents create incident reports and provide an initial assessment of the incidents impact.
- Coordinate response efforts and help remediate identified threats and vulnerabilities.
- Standardize and automate incident response functions and workflows.
- Enhance and maintain playbooks and other documentation for incident response activities.
What you bring
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or similar field.
- 5 years of experience in a Security Incident Response role or a similar position.
- Excellent understanding of computer networking and common internet protocols.
- Proficiency with Splunk and other SIEM tools.
- Familiarity with different types of cyber threats vulnerabilities evasion techniques attack vectors tools techniques and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills in English with the ability to articulate complex security concepts in simple terms.
- Flexibility to adjust to different time zones and working hours as per the requirement.
- General understanding of SAP corporate its functions and processes.
- Any additional industry-relevant certifications (like GCIH ECIH CISSP etc.) would be a plus.
