Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Finance Program activities. Performs technical and administrative accounting work in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the County. Responsible for overall workflow of accounting information collection classification and querying. Responsible for regulatory reports including payroll and data collection from government and regulatory agencies. Oversees workflow of other finance staff.


Pay Rate

The annual salary range is from $86226.40 to $110496.21depending on experience plus full benefits.

*The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*

Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Colorado drivers license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 200 within the first year of employment.

Qualifications/Education

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting finance business or public administration or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or finance work or any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate
  • Must be competent in Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables IF functions) (required); Quantitative and Analytic skills are imperative
