Person In Charged : Assistant Manager -Procurement
Reports To : Manager Or Assistant Vice President Or Vice President
Basic Function : To Assist and Manage The Procurement Activities At Wisma Genting

Job Summary:
The Assistant Procurement Manager will support the procurement team in acquiring goods and services for theorganization. They will work closely with the Procurement Manager to manage the purchasing process maintainsupplier relationships ensure compliance with organizational policies and ensure cost-effective and efficientprocurement operations.

Job Description:

1. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations in all procurement activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions.
2. Plan sourcing strategies for each project through analysis of data and spending trends
3. Ensure comprehensive information and documentation of each Tender Projects/Request for Proposal events.
4. Ensure goods and services are delivered on time within scopes and within budget
5. Initiate due diligent check on new suppliers and conducting price benchmarking exercises making sure RIGHT supplier and RIGHT price in place
6. Ensure timely renewal of contracts
7. Establish and maintain relationship with major suppliers and all the stakeholders
8. Handle daily operation issues and update new products via sourcing and market info for stakeholders
9. Contribute new ideas for system efficiency and stakeholders satisfactions
10. Keep track on project update status from individual buyers and build buyers team work and increase work efficiency among buyers
11. Assist in the negotiation of terms and pricing with suppliers aiming to achieve the best value for the company.
12. Contribute to process improvements cost-saving initiatives and best practices in procurement.

Requirements :

1. Degree in Economics / Statistics / Business Admin / Hospitality with at least 5 years experience in purchasing field understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
2. Possess good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
3. Experience in leading/supervising buyers
4. Hands-on experience in using SAP / Ariba / Oracle or any other ERP system will be an added advantage
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
