Job Description
Our client is a global retailer brand who continue to experience considerable growth. There is now an immediate need to hire a Senior Design Manager based in their corporate Head Office.
As part of the leadership team for the Store Design team this person will help to lead the creative and design process for our clients stores.
Responsibilities
Direct and lead the team in the journey of design development and construction to prototypes for new consumer experiences.
Liaise and guide creative consultants design and ensure those are consistent with the clients store concept design guidelines.
Be informed of the agreed budgetary and schedule objectives and ensuring the designs reflect and meet those.
Gather market intelligence regarding design trends in the retail and hospitality industries.
Deliver individual project presentations at a local and global level.
Working closely with Project Managers Operations Merchant groups and Visual Merchandisers as well as with outside consulting teams to ensure business and brand objectives were met.

Requirements
Licensed Architect or a Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited University
4-5 plus years of innovative consumer experiences design/architecture
2 years of experience in Design Management level leading both in-house design teams and design agencies
Design direction working on complex projects as an in-house design leader and or within an architectural or design agency
Fluency in English language Cantonese and Mandarin preferred
