Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician C

Job Schedule: 9/80 - 2nd Shift
Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by manufacturing a variety of System/LRU (Line Replaceable Units) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully manufacturing L3Harris products for delivery or repair.
Essential Functions:
- Building electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies including circuit cards cable/harnesses and various other electronic products while ensuring compliance with required performance specifications
- Ability in multiple electronics manufacturing processes including component level soldering wire/harness routing point to point wire connector terminations wire crimpers wire connectors torque tools and ESD practices.
- Sets up a variety of manufacturing apparatus and completes assembly following methods procedures standards and operations sequences
- Ability to work from both oral and written instructions engineering drawings and blueprints
Participate in process improvement activities in both test and manufacturing
Support OT (nights weekends extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs
Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devices.
- Proficient in soldering wire crimping
- Knowledge performing functional testing of electromechanical assemblies.
- Active/Current IPC/J-STD certifications.
