Job Description

System Analyst Command Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC)

This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs CO Schriever Space Force Base.

The Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president secretary of defense and combatant commanders at strategic regional and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations see the battle develop collectively and dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.

What You Can Expect to Do:

  • Analyze real-world data about Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness.

  • As part of an Agile Scrum team develop and complete features and stories mapped to program objectives.

  • Duties may include one or more of the following:

    • Collect and interpret real-world data.

    • Develop new algorithms to utilize the data effectively.

    • Actively update current algorithms based on new data.

What the Team Requires:

  • Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.

  • Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.

  • Current/active in-scope DoD issued TOP SECRET security clearance.

  • 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 4 years of experience or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Technical specialty areas may include:

    • Performance analysis and characterization of large-scale complex system simulations including:

      • Ballistic missile threats

      • Weapon systems

      • Command and control

    • Strong background in math and physics.

    • Experience using MATLAB to support analysis of complex data.

    • Familiarity with:

      • Unix/Linux

      • Agile Scrum

      • Continuous integration

    • Specific knowledge of one or more MDS elements:

      • C2BMC

      • AN/TPY-2

      • LRDR

      • BOA

      • SBIRS

      • GMB

      • Aegis BMD

      • PATRIOT

What the Team Prefers:

  • Practical or theoretical understanding of ballistic and non-ballistic missile defense concepts Battle Management and Command and Control (BM/C2) systems defense communication systems the Missile Defense System (MDS) and Space Domain Awareness.

  • Experience with scenario generation is a plus.
