Job Description
Your Team Responsibilities
MSCI Global Index Client Service is the primary point of contact for clients and users of MSCI Index products and serves as the key link to MSCIs Global Research and Index operations. The team members are responsible for directly responding to a wide variety of methodology usage and technical questions on MSCI benchmark products.
The MSCI Index Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our institutional dominantly financial institutional clients around the world. The team members work closely with account managers to develop and maintain client relationships.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Master MSCI Index tools applications and usage of MSCI data.
- Directly assist global clients via email and phone by providing data requests and answering detailed questions on our products and methodology.
- Gain a deep understanding of MSCI index construction methodologies. This includes remaining up to date with ongoing enhancements as well as new products.
- Work with internal departments to ensure all client requests/inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Provide training on the usage of our products tools and applications.
- Take ownership of various initiatives that aim to improve client experience and the efficiency of Client Service processes.
- Act as a liaison and source of feedback directly to Sales Research and Product Management.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Bachelors degree in business finance economics sustainability or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in Financial Services.
- CFA is a plus but not a requirement.
- Good understanding of investment products and a keen interest in understanding the latest developments in the financial markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complicated concepts to a wide variety of audiences. An advantage for candidates who know or are keen to learn Mandarin.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team and involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of function geography and business line.
