Clarity are currently recruiting for an agency Triage Nurse for Virtual ED shifts in Dublin. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse with a passion for emergency medicine and wants to work as part of a new and exciting initiative.
The ideal candidate should be/have:
Registered General Nurse(NMBI with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience
Eligible to work in Ireland
ED or acute care background essential (ED MAU urgent care settings)
Demonstrated experience in telecare or remote nursing roles (minimum 1 year
preferred)
Familiarity with digital tools for documentation remote monitoring or video triage
Strong communication clinical reasoning and independent decision-making skills
Experience using Manchester Triage System or equivalent tools (desirable)
Responsibilities:
Perform remote triage assessments using digital health platforms telehealth
protocols and contactless vital signs monitoring
Use AI-enabled tools and structured triage pathways to categorize patients and
determine the urgency of care
Escalate high-acuity cases to ED consultants or senior registrars in line with clinical
governance protocols
Manage non-urgent presentations with appropriate advice referrals or discharge
pathways
Document clinical decisions in line with regulatory and international standards
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary virtual care team (ED consultants ANPs
admin) to ensure safe and efficient patient flow
Participate in continuous quality improvement audit and service innovation
