Job Summary
Experienced Veterinary Surgeon Dublin
(Permanent position Small Animal Hospital)
The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of one of Dublins few remaining independent small animal hospitals known for its collaborative culture high clinical standards and genuine commitment to veterinary excellence.
With a caseload of approximately 75% dogs and cats and 25% exotics this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their skills in a supportive and progressive environment.
Two of the current vets already hold Certificates in Exotic Animal Medicine and two more are in training so while interest in exotics is welcomed it is not a requirement. The focus of this position will primarily be on dogs and cats.
As the hospital prepares to open a second site in Dublin this is an exciting time to join a practice that combines the independence of a family-run team with the resources of a modern well-equipped hospital.
The Role

Full-time permanent position (part-time considered)

Mixed medical and surgical caseload (mainly small animals)

Opportunity to assist with exotics cases if desired

Requirements

Degree in Veterinary Medicine recognised within the EU

Minimum 23 years of small animal experience

Strong surgical and medical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Eligibility to register with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI)
