At CGI we are currently looking for a Senior QA Tester to work on a major international banking sector project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 level or higher).
- 6 years of experience in Manual QA and knowledge of business analysis.
- Team leadership experience in QA is preferred.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Azure Services.
- Experience in test planning test case design and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with quality assurance tools and technologies (e.g. JIRA Selenium TestRail).
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed specifications including business process models data flow diagrams and use case scenarios.
- Ensure that requirements are clear concise and achievable within the project scope.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute functional regression integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify document and track defects using issue tracking tools ensuring timely resolution.
- Lead the testing team.
- Assist in prioritizing and managing project backlogs and releases.
- Participate in project meetings providing updates and insights on project progress and challenges.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation including requirements test cases and defect logs.
- Prepare and present test reports summarizing testing activities issues found and improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and user manuals as needed.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance system quality and efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Desirable:
- rofessional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or ISTQB Certified Tester.
- Experience with automation testing and tools such as Selenium JMeter or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database queries.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Experience working in the IT financial services or healthcare sectors.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.

- Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Has experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
