Role
This is a hands-on role for a highly experienced QA engineer with an interest in blockchain and cybersecurity and a depth of knowledge and passion for testing secure solutions. We can offer unique technical challenges a supportive and creative environment with the opportunity to have an important role in a fast-growing organisation.
You will focus on testing Qredos services and applications that serve the digital asset custody and transfer platform which includes backend API services Web and Mobile applications. This is the perfect role for a highly experienced engineer who enjoys adopting new technologies and who sets high standards for themselves and those around them.
Responsibilities
Preparing test plans and test sets and their estimations
Creating writing and executing test cases according to Product specifications
Choosing best type of testing (Smoke Sanity Regression End-to-end) in each situation to ensure smooth and effective testing process
Interact on a daily basis across multiple teams in the organization and coordinate the code deployment on different environments (Dev QA Staging PROD)
Using best practices in Quality Assurance to ensure company products meet the functional & non-functional requirements and the newly introduced code changes do not negatively impact quality
Working closely with Product/Program managers to improve user stories
Working in Agile team
Reporting identified bugs and tracking them during their entire lifecycle
Preparing test reports on a needed basis
Helping the Technical writers with user documentation
Participating in internal workshops and knowledge sharing events

Competitive salary
Skills and Experience
Have 3 years of QA experience. Working with services databases code changes troubleshooting and traffic monitoring tools is a bug advantage.
Have experience using Jira with TestRail or other test management plugin
Experience of Web and Mobile application testing is a must
Experience in API testing
Bachelor or masters degree in computer science is an advantage
Fluent in English
Complete understanding of QA methodologies/processes and industry best practices
Good teamwork and communication skills
