Hourly rate: $34.19 - $35.64(pending experience)

Catherine McAuley Collegeopened its doors in 2022 in order to meet the growing demand for a quality Catholic Education in the Mackay with pioneering Year 7s in 2022 they will grow into a complete Years 7 to 12 profile by 2027.

Your Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons for Classroom Support Assistants to commence January 2026. These positions are term-time continuing for 30 hours per week.
Successful applicants for this position will be able to demonstrate:

- genuine care for the wellbeing of students
- a high level oral and written communication skills
- the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality in dealing with young people and their needs
- the ability to work well either individually or in a team and to accept direction and support
- the ability to respond and adapt to often demanding and busy environment

About you
The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of Catholic addition you will have excellent time management skills well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.

Mandatory Requirements
- A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
