Opal Packaging is an industry-leading packaging business across New Zealand and Australia.

Currently our Opal Kiwi Packaging team at our site in Hastings - Woolwich have an exciting opportunity as we are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to come onboard.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager NZ your role will involve:

  • Providing efficient and effective customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Order Management/Managing orders and issues as they arise.
  • Providing accurate information to Customers and Account Managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional/ operational teams across Opal sites.
  • Providing general assistance to the Customer Support team
  • All other duties as required.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following experience and skills:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in a customer service position
  • Be self-motivated action oriented and deliver results.
  • Ability to cope under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • Professional communication both oral and written and ability to solve customer problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Exceptional telephone skills and ability to build effective customer relationships.
  • A positive affable disposition & ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience using multiple databases and intermediate Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail accuracy and quality
