Service Business Manager (Planner)

The Service Business team manage the long-term contract review process for customer fleets that have signed up to one of the various forms of aftermarket support Rolls-Royce offers under the banner of its TotalCareTM offering. This includes generating the Operational Plan and Financial forecast.
This role provides the opportunity to work with various stakeholders within Civil Aerospace Business - including the value streams finance function engineering and systems capability teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team that is constantly looking to evolve and improve its working practices and stakeholder interactions in the process helping to shape how the organisation operates in the future.
The role reports to the Head of Service Business of Civil Aerospace Services.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the generation of the Executive Operational Plan and Contract Review Pack Forecasts specifically guiding the development and maintenance of our operational planning toolsets such that they are available for the teams to use to support the window and scenarios processes.
- Lead Improvement Projects and participate in Process User Groups to actively seek to improve Service Businesss processes and tools aiming for standardisation across the various engine teams where possible. Gain commitment from relevant stakeholders to change processes to improve forecast accuracy and increase efficiency. To lead quality investigations (8D) and support all audit requirements (internally and externally).
- Support Scenario Modelling activities to optimise cost forecasts within contract terms and gain necessary approvals to build these into the Executive forecast. This may include support of existing Fleet renewals new services and transitions for Business Evaluations.
- Manage develop and motivate a team of professionals ensuring an appropriately managed workload providing support and development opportunities as required including managing relationship and priorities with Digital development teams
Qualifications/Experiences
- Degree qualified or be suitably experienced
- Experience of presenting to a range of senior stakeholders
- Planning and programme management
- Experience of building and leading diverse teams
- Understanding of our Forecasting Workbench and the RR Planner tool formally known as Visium Planner our executive tool for generating an operational plan
