Job Description

Job Description:

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for managing supplier quality processes supporting PSW activities coordinating change management and ensuring compliance with product and documentation requirements. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of quality-related activities from New Product Introduction (NPI) to ongoing production.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute PSW (Part Submission Warrant) activities for APQP Level 1/2/3 including documentation evidence gathering and system routing.
  • Define PSW levels and required documentation based on product changes and requirements.
  • Coordinate change management activities for supplier quality including review and approval of supplier strategy changes such as IFU specifications symbol placements and CofC strategies.
  • Initiate and complete PSW sign-off processes (Sections 5 6 and 7) with suppliers.
  • Route documents in Wind Chill and obtain stakeholder approvals.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for suppliers on SQE-related matters.
  • Handle supplier communications follow-ups and issue resolution independently.
  • Monitor QNs (Quality Notifications) and ensure timely closure in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Support NCR (Non-Conforming Report) resolution as required.
  • Conduct or coordinate Inward Quality Checks / First Article Inspections (FAI) at Client or supplier sites.
  • Verify supplier documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support and coordinate FAI activities with suppliers and inspectors.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to optimize SICR (Supplier-initiated Change Request) counts.
  • Support component enrichment in SAP in collaboration with Client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering Quality Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supplier quality engineering PSW and change management.
  • Strong understanding of APQP FAI and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Wind Chill or similar PLM systems.
  • Strong documentation and verification skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (Dutch is an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.
