Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team. The role involves delivering advanced physiotherapy services supporting clinical excellence and supervising junior staff and students within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients within a relevant clinical setting.

  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Act as a clinical leader supporting and supervising junior physiotherapists support staff and students.

  • Contribute to service development and implementation of best practices.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Participate in continuing professional development and training programs.

Primary Skills:

  • Degree in a relevant therapy profession.

  • Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Evidence of comprehensive clinical experience in physiotherapy.

  • Strong ability to assess diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Masters degree or equivalent (or currently working towards it).

  • Completion of a Clinical Educators Course.

  • Experience in supervision and mentoring of staff and students.

  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at recent and relevant postgraduate courses.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (or related therapy profession).

  • Registered with HCPC.

  • Postgraduate qualifications and evidence of ongoing CPD desirable.
