Job Summary (List Format):
- Perform diagnostic medical sonography exams in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of anatomy physiology ultrasound principles and medical terminology to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while interacting with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort including assisting or lifting patients up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods during procedures.
- Maintain required certifications including Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- For advanced positions apply a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience and established record of strong performance.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and exhibit reliable teamwork in a variable fast-paced clinical environment.
- Adhere to a full-time 4 10 shift schedule (four 10-hour days per week) with potential for weekend evening or holiday rotations as needed.
