Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead (Data Engineering GCP/BigQuery) with 9 11 years of experience to lead design and deliver scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GCP BigQuery ETL design and complex SQL development along with strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor data engineering teams providing technical guidance and best practices.
- Design develop test and maintain ETL pipelines and solutions in GCP (BigQuery).
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing.
- Perform code reviews ensure process compliance and drive quality assurance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and data architectures.
- Troubleshoot optimize performance and mitigate technical risks.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery.
- Proficiency in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries.
- Experience in designing scalable data architectures and ETL solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with UC4 (job scheduling tool).
- Strong knowledge of data analytics frameworks.
