Job Description
Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology
Join our team in Dubuque Iowa where we are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time coverage. Enjoy a collaborative working environment with a supportive staff in a reputable healthcare facility. Flexibility is key as were looking for candidates who can cover 2-week stretches providing essential services to our communitys adult population.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and conduct consultations for outpatient treatment averaging 20-25 patients per day.
- Perform a range of required procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy IMRT IGRT and SBRT.
- Utilize Aria EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards for radiation safety.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Iowa medical license or Active IMLC - REQUIRED for candidates offering 2 on/2 off
- COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
- Ability to start ASAP upon credentialing - REQUIRED
- Clean Background and Professional History - REQUIRED
- Experience with Aria documentation - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Local candidates or those within driving distance - HIGHLY PREFERRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
- Active Iowa License or IMLC
- COVID-19 Vaccination Documentation
