Job Opportunity: Locum Pediatrician in Cadillac MI
Join Our Team at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital!
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide 24-hour newborn nursery call coverage. Our facility offers a collaborative environment with 24/7 access to a neonatologist and the ability to transfer care to NICU in Traverse City. The clinic is conveniently located next to the hospital equipped with six exam rooms and utilizes the Cerner documentation system. Join us in providing routine newborn care at our Level I nursery!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for the newborn nursery from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM.
- Respond to pager/cell call during shifts.
- Coordinate care with neonatologists and manage transfers to NICU as necessary.
- Conduct routine newborn assessments and care in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner system.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency.
- Clean history with no exceptions.
- NRP & BLS certified.
- Availability for specified blocks of dates.
- Must hold a valid Michigan medical license at the time of submission.
- Providers must be local with no flights required.
- Participation with MI Medicaid/CHAMPS is a must.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Current NRP certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid Michigan medical license.
