The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for aStoreroom Supervisor to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.
Classification:Temporary - position ends December 2025
Shift: Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate:The pay rate for this role is $30.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all deliveries are received in accordance with hotel specifications including verifying accuracy against purchase orders receiving sheets pricing quantities and weights.
Maintain the storeroom in a clean organized and secure condition at all times.
Supervise and validate that all products leaving the storeroom are properly requisitioned and approved according to hotel policy.
Coordinate the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail ensuring guest mail is accurately logged and handled with care.
Manage the arrival and departure of group boxes and shipments ensuring proper coordination and billing of associated charges.
Assist with sourcing and ordering of food and beverage items maintaining communication with relevant departments to meet operational needs.
Supervise train and assign daily tasks to storeroom clerks ensuring efficient and accurate completion of all duties.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with purchasing to reorder supplies as necessary.
Uphold safety and hygiene standards within the storeroom environment.
