Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Henderson NV
Summary:
Join a dynamic healthcare environment in beautiful Henderson Nevada providing comprehensive GI coverage in a hospital and emergency department setting. You will perform inpatient consults upper and lower endoscopy and ERCP procedures with potential for post-procedure outpatient clinic follow-ups. This position arises due to the need for coverage following a change in physician group agreements. Be part of a facility with 366 licensed beds and a commitment to patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct inpatient consultations for GI issues.
- Perform upper and lower endoscopies and ERCP procedures.
- Manage outpatient follow-ups as required.
- Provide hospital-focused coverage particularly during the first 2 to 3 weeks of each month.
- Collaborate with IR and Anesthesia support staff available 24/7.
- Document using CERNER EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- Valid NV state license OR IMLC - REQUIRED
- Completed residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- Current ACLS BLS and DEA certifications - REQUIRED
- Malpractice history clean preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Active NV state medical license or participating in IMLC.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- DEA registration.
