Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist with United Way workplace campaigns and raise support to create pathways out of poverty. This is an incredible opportunity to be in a customer-facing role supporting our United Way campaigns and raising funds for vital community programs in the Alberta Capital Region.
About the Role
In this Temporary casual role you will be responsible for coordinating meaningful connections to our current and previous donors through engagement calls and emails sharing the impact their contribution has on our community and Inspiring future support.
This is a casual temporary position working up to 30 hours a week starting early October and ending mid-December.
As the Associate Donor Engagement you will:
- Conduct Donor engagement and retention calls
- Provide information to donors about our United Way
- Thank donors post gift.
- Complete donor financial transactions record call and e-mail results and perform basic administrative tasks.
About you:
You have an interest in making a difference in our community are eager to apply your customer service skills to this role in supporting our workplace campaigns. You have a can-do attitude are outcomes driven and approach situations with a customer focus. Thinking creatively staying organized and building relationships is how you thrive. You love operating in a digital environment and are proficient with MS Office (we use Office 365 MS Teams SharePoint) and enjoy learning and using new technology.
Your background includes a high school diploma and administrative or customer service experience. We welcome applicants with any combination of education and lived experiences.
