Join J.P. Morgan in Buenos Aires a key strategic hub with over 3500 employees and be part of an exciting development journey while supporting our global clients. Our Agency Securities Finance (ASF) team enhances securities portfolios by generating income and reducing expenses within acceptable risk levels. The Settlements team manages fail trade booking returns and liaises with borrowers and trade desks for trade settlements.

Agency Securities Finance Settlements team is responsible for fail trade management and booking of returns and recalls of Equities Fixed Income and Non Custody loans and loan returns transactions. Team liaises with Borrowers Agent Banks and Trade Desk for settlement of trades.

As an Agency Securities Finance Settlements Trading Services Associate within the Trading Services team you will be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions complete reconciliation checks and ensure controls are performed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff through day-to-day issues and remediation.
  • Propose anddeliver process improvements.
  • Participate in strategic initiative scoping.
  • Participate in Project planning and test.
  • Collaborate with partners in Risk and Controls covering audit preparation control self-assessment reviews and client due diligence.
  • Report to senior management.
  • Work and Exposure to high daily volumes and large amounts.
  • Ensure timelines and service delivery standards are continually achieved.
  • Risk mitigation and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
  • Comply with policies procedures and controls at all times for the safety of company and clients.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic and changing environment with demanding timelines and deadlines.
  • Bachelors degree completed.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Solid sense of accountability and ownership of issues until resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
  • Team player and interpersonal skills with experience working in matrix organizations.
  • Internal and external client service orientation.
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Capacity to work effectively within a diverse and inclusive global team.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelors degree completed with a Finance orientation.
