Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Sunridge Hotel Group. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations including front desk housekeeping maintenance and guest services to ensure a clean safe and welcoming environment. This role manages staffing training budgeting and cost controls while driving guest satisfaction and team performance. Serving as a hands-on leader the Front Office Manager/Assistant Manager resolves guest concerns maintains brand standards and supports the General Manager in achieving operational and financial goals. Weekend and evening coverage as Manager on Duty is required.
What Youll Do:
  • Oversee hotel operations including Housekeeping Laundry Maintenance Guest Services and Food & Beverage.
  • Schedule and adjust staffing based on occupancy forecasts.
  • Supervise daily activities of hotel staff and ensure service standards are met.
  • Monitor guest feedback resolve concerns and follow up directly with guests when needed.
  • Conduct regular room inspections and oversee preventative maintenance.
  • Manage inventories purchasing and cost controls for supplies and equipment.
  • Provide training coaching and performance counseling to team members.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure staff follow safety policies.
  • Monitor departmental budgets payroll and operating costs.
  • Prepare daily reports including AM/PM checklists room discrepancies and inspection forms.
  • Lead and motivate staff through effective communication meetings and recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies procedures grooming and dress standards.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty including required weekend and evening shifts.
About You:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive team environments.
  • Experience managing hotel operations staff scheduling and guest services.
  • Skilled in budgeting financial reporting and cost controls.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Comfortable handling guest concerns and resolving issues with professionalism.
  • Flexible and reliable with the ability to work weekends and evenings when needed.
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
