How youll contribute
The Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric and substance use issues in the outpatient setting. The Manager assures that high quality clinical care is provided and that clinical functions are integrated. Manager supervises family and group counseling and develops implements and supervises a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes. Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post IOP / PHP transition. Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.
Responsible for ensuring that company approved programs are implemented and being provided consistently.
Provides oversight to the therapists and provides feedback through the performance evaluation process supervision and training and if necessary through counseling.
Ensures that all interventions (individual group and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
Conducts regular audits on patient charts to ensure compliance with Lifepoint and regulatory agency requirements.
Actively participates in survey activities (TJC Medicare and licensing).

What were looking for
Education: Masters Degree from an accredited school of social work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance use issues.
Experience: Previous experience in outpatient healthcare is required. Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is required.
License:
Current unencumbered Clinical Social Work or Counseling License
CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) or Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
