About the Role

ActewAGL Finance is seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Manager Commercial Services and Projects to join our Evoenergy Commercial Services team. This is a key leadership role that partners across Evoenergy and Corporate Services to deliver high-impact commercial outcomes support strategic initiatives and help guide the business through the ACTs transition to a net zero future.

Youll play a pivotal role in budgeting forecasting commercial analysis and project deliveryensuring sound financial decisions and robust commercial frameworks underpin our operations.

About the team

The Evoenergy Commercial Services team provides commercial support financial and management reporting and analysis for the Evoenergys Electricity and Gas Network businesses.

A day in the life..

  • Lead the development of key inputs into the annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Deliver quarterly financial forecasts highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide commercial analysis and support for strategic initiatives and infrastructure projects.
  • Evaluate business cases tenders and contractual agreements for commercial viability.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to support executive and board-level decision-making.
  • Manage financial frameworks risk registers and compliance processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success.

About You

You are a results-driven professional with a strong background in commercial services financial analysis and project management. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring a strategic mindset to every are prepared to roll up your sleeves and produce high quality commercial and financial analysis that adds value to the business.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven extensive commercial experience in a large-scale operation.
  • Formal qualifications in accounting or business with CA/CPA membership (or equivalent).
  • Strong capability in evaluating projects for financial and commercial soundness.
  • Significant experience interpreting infrastructure agreements and supplier/customer contracts.
  • Advanced/Expert Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials or similar enterprise financial systems.
