**Responsibilities: **
Install maintain and repair electrical systems including wiring conduit
electrical panels motors and control systems.
Install and configure electrical components for new and existing production
lines ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical
systems to identify and address potential issues before they cause
disruptions.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced testing
equipment and tools.
Repair or replace faulty components such as wiring switches relays and
circuit breakers to restore system functionality.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve complex electrical issues
and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Control Systems and Automation: Required
Program and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to control
automated machinery and processes.
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and
Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Optimize control systems to enhance production efficiency and product
quality.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders
inspection reports and parts inventories.
Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and
other relevant standards.
Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating
procedures (SOPs) for electrical maintenance tasks.
Safety and Training:
Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate
electrical hazards.
Provide training and support to production and maintenance staff on the
safe operation and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics blueprints and
technical manuals.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including AC/DC motors control
circuits and power distribution.
Experience with PLC programming troubleshooting and repair (Siemens
Allen-Bradley etc.).
Familiarity with VFDs HMIs and other automation components.
Skilled in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters
oscilloscopes and insulation testers.
