Job Opportunity: Physician - Endocrinology
Join a thriving Endocrinology practice in Albany New York. Our facility is dedicated to providing outstanding care with a multi-disciplinary team focused on innovative treatment strategies for diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primarily manage outpatient responsibilities.
- On Call: 1:10 call with additional inpatient call coverage when necessary.
- Offer flexibility in scheduling to meet patient needs.
- Work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of Endocrinologists Advanced Practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators.
- Provide comprehensive diagnosis treatment and long-term care for diabetes and metabolic disorders.
- Utilize the latest diabetes care technology including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.
- Deliver specialized services such as medication management foot care smoking cessation and individual/group diabetes education classes.
- Support exceptional patient outcomes and improve their quality of life.
- Encourage experience but welcome upcoming and recent graduates working towards board certification.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology (within 5 years of eligibility).
- Previous employment experience in Endocrinology is preferred.
- NY State License (or willingness to obtain).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology is required.
- Active or willing to obtain a New York State Medical License.
