Job Description
Perm - Physician - Endocrinology
Join a dynamic team in Pueblo Colorado where we are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to enhance our established outpatient practice. This facility offers specialized high-level care for adults in the treatment and management of diabetes thyroid dysfunction and osteoporosis. With plans to incorporate a Certified Diabetes Educator on site and ultrasound capabilities within the clinic you will be well-equipped to provide exceptional patient care. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient care in a full-time outpatient Endocrinology practice.
- Manage and treat adult patients with diabetes thyroid dysfunction and osteoporosis.
- See approximately 15 patients per day in a busy clinic setting.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient management.
- Collaborate with a skilled team focused on addressing every patient health need.
- Embrace a commitment to ongoing development in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
- Must be interested in permanent placement. Locum candidates will not be considered.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (0-5 years of residency).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism (0-5 years of residency).
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Preferred: Clean malpractice history.
- Required: No visa support needed; must not require J1 or H1B visa.
- DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism.
- Active Colorado medical license.
- DEA registration is mandatory prior to commencement of employment.
