Job Description
Permanent Physician - Pediatric Neurologist Opportunity in Saginaw MI
Join a thriving healthcare facility! Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health in collaboration with Covenant HealthCare is actively seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to expand their pediatric department. With a focus on building a pediatric residency program and developing comprehensive pediatric specialties this is an exciting opportunity to engage with a dedicated team of professionals focused on both education and excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care for pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient services.
- Engage in education and training of residents and medical students.
- Participate in EEG and sleep study interpretation.
- Contribute to scholarly activities in the field of pediatric neurology.
- Serve patients across a broad geographic area benefiting from a substantial primary care referral network.
- Take on a leadership role if you have the necessary experience.
- Allocate time for research and academic pursuits.

Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with a Special Qualification in Child Neurology (0-5 years post-residency).
- Completion of a pediatric neurology fellowship.
- Exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in education.
- Experience with research and scholarly activities.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Controlled Substance License (CSR/CDS) (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration (must be secured prior to start date).
