Job Summary
Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine
Join our dedicated team in Manhattan Kansas where we are committed to providing comprehensive evaluations for our nations veterans. This position involves a unique blend of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments allowing you to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have served.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and physical assessments for veterans focusing on range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Perform General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations ensuring thorough and accurate reporting
- Submit standardized forms and reports within 48 hours of exam completion
- Maintain compliance with administrative follow-ups including addendums and medical opinions
- Utilize a personal laptop for documentation (NO Mac/Apple products)
- Participate in training and development sessions including DMA certification
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in one of the following specialties: Neurology Neurosurgery or PM&R
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Experience in evaluating respiratory cardiovascular and neurological conditions
- Proficient in METs testing
- Ability to travel within designated locations as needed
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current medical license in the state of Kansas
- DMA certification required (must complete training)
