Job Description
Join a Progressive Pediatric Practice in Bellefontaine OH
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join an independent progressive community hospital located in beautiful Bellefontaine Ohio. This facility offers a unique opportunity to practice high-quality pediatric medicine in a collaborative environment with dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient clinic care and round on newborns
- Attend C-sections in a busy growing practice
- Hospital-employed position with a four-day work week
- Participate in a team consisting of 4 physicians CNPs and a lactation consultant
- Share call 1:4 with a 20-minute maximum response time
- Manage rounding on newborns and taking call for both the practice and hospital
- Care for newborns at a Level 1 nursery with approximately 400 births per year
- Engage in community involvement and activities
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Willing to obtain an Ohio medical license
- DEA PALS and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be able to respond to hospital within 20 minutes when on call
- New graduates are welcome if truly Board Eligible
- Open to visa candidates
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- PALS Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- NRP Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be willing to perform all required responsibilities including call obligations
